Flight Services for Technologically Advanced Aircraft (TAA)

Flying Technologically Advanced Aircraft is an exciting and challenging experience unlike any other and ranks at the top of most adventurers lifetime accomplishments.

More luxurious, safe, and simple to operate than it’s predecessors, the TAA is the way to learn to fly for those that want to Go Places!

Curtiss Aero provides flight services for aircraft and pilots of all backgrounds and skill levels. Based at the Danbury Municipal Airport (DXR), we offer aircraft rental, flight instruction, maintenance, as well as aircraft management and sales services.

We are also a Cirrus Standardized Training Center and Service Center, and the Certified Sales Center for CubCrafters in the Northeastern U.S.

Come down and see our new pride and joy, a 2013 CubCrafters Carbon Cub SS. It features the MyPanel with an iPad 4 running Wing-X software, and in conjunction with ADS-B capability, it boasts a PFD, synthetic vision, traffic, and weather as well! There were many new improvements to the 2013 model, including an electrical system voltage monitor, lighter-weight higher torque Hartzell starter, triple the cabin heat output and many new features as well; including the new Volcano Red paint scheme. Contact us to schedule your demo flight today!

Sport pilot training is available with this aircraft, or if you're looking to add a little excitement to your flying, tailwheel transitions run $1,595 for 8 hours of flight instruction in the airplane. If you just want to do a little sightseeing, dual instruction is $225/hour all-inclusive.
